Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting wines and whiskeys tailored to their preferences and needs
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and tastings to educate customers about different varieties, flavors, and pairing options
Provide expert advice on wine and whiskey selections, including recommendations for special occasions or gift-giving
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and receipt processing
Upsell complementary products such as glassware, accessories, or premium bottles to enhance customer satisfaction and sales revenue
Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight featured products and seasonal promotions
Stock shelves accurately, organize inventory, and perform regular stock checks to ensure product availability
Assist with inventory management by receiving shipments, verifying stock levels, and replenishing displays promptly
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely
Apply basic retail math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations
Ensure a clean, organized store environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes an inviting shopping atmosphere
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service consistently
